I love getting creative and experimenting with colours and different textures. Working alongside a great team and bringing it all together to create fantastic images just keeps reminding me of why I do what I do!
When it comes to fashion, there is so much out there that brings on the inspiration and gets the creative juices flowing! It can be art, clothes, jewellery and even nature. Before I go to a shoot I always make sure the meetings are set and my mood boards are created so I know what to expect and to know what I need to deliver. When I am working on a project; my kit is up to date with the current products on the market. Keeping on trend is essential when working in fashion, however I do carry rhinestones and glitter… just in case I need to bedazzle a look – you never know. I have worked on various fashion and catwalk events and that is including London Fashion Week which I have worked on for many seasons with some of the greatest talents in the industry. Backstage can get manic but keeping a calm atmosphere is what I do best.
By assisting some of the finest makeup artists I have gained invaluable skills and experience that I will always portray in every project I take part in.
Having worked on many photographic shoots whether if it’s fashion, editorials, commercial or even TV, I work really hard to ensure every piece of work is a success and pleasing all clients along the way. I have had the opportunity to work with some great clients.
As well as being in a studio to shoot or film a concept I had the honour to write a beauty column for a magazine based in Norway called FOLK. My work has also been published in magazines and on TV nationally and internationally.
Enduring all the hard work I have been nominated twice for a BEFFTA Award for Best Make-up Artist of the Year.
